Saint Xavier University

Saint Xavier University, In short it is also known as SXU. This university is a four-year, coeducational institution of higher learning located on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois at USA.

Saint Xavier University was based as a women's faculty by the Sisters of Mercy in 1846 at the request of Bishop William Quarter. With the town of Chicago but 10 years previous, the Sisters of Mercy, below the steerage of Mother Blessed Virgin Francis Warde, RSM, established Saint Francis Saint Francis Xavier feminine Academy. The Academy, which might later become Saint Saint Francis Xavier faculty, and eventually Saint Saint Francis Xavier University, was the primary Mercy faculty within the world and is that the oldest hired faculty within the town of Chicago.

The original field, that burnt down within the nice Chicago fireplace of 1871, was set on river Avenue between Madison and Monroe in downtown Chicago. Soon after, the field was remodeled on a 5-acre (2.023 ha) website on the southern boundary of Chicago.

Saint Xavier's 109 acres (44.1 ha) main field is found in town of Chicago within the Mt. timber neighborhood on the corner of 103rd Street and common Avenue.
